Flexibility combined with spectator and exhibition amenities make this facility a unique asset to the Delmarva Peninsula. A 7,000 s.f. covered staging area adjacent to the judges platform provides an important transition between the outdoor schooling rings and the main show ring. Platforms 15 feet above the show ring surface have been integrated into the support space design to provide photo/video opportunities for broadcasting events.

A strong axial entrance emphasizes the festive nature of the facility while the concession 'street' is placed for high visibility and interaction with the adjacent fairgrounds. Also provided are signbands for advertising banners for the various events.

Master planning for this 32-acre complex includes barns for 500 new stalls, reorganization of exhibitor, spectator and service traffic patterns, and a new main gate for the fairgrounds which is on axis with the arena plaza.
